"Renarrative". A group exhibition exploring the power of storytelling in reshaping narratives, curated by The Constant Now, a nomadic curatorial platform led by Magali Elali. James Ensor: 75 years after his death. The Groeningemuseum (Dijver 12) is hosting a collection presentation dedicated to James Ensor, 75 years after the artist's death. The Groeningemuseum is also home to "Ensor: Master on paper". This separate exhibition showcases Ensor's artistic talent through drawings and etchings, highlighting his grotesque and macabre imagery, including masks and skeletons. Museum ticket prices are up to €15, children under 13 go FREE. "Shut Up & Write" writing sessions. Bruges public library is offering three sessions, “whether you're working on a play, a poem, your first (or twentieth) novel, or a simple letter, "Shut Up & Write" will help you get those creative juices flowing! Football lovers visiting Bruges can watch the city’s two world famous clubs, Brugge KSV (“Club Brugge”) and Cercle Brugge KSV (“Cercle Brugge”) play during the season at the city’s Jan Breydel stadium (Koning Leopold III-laan 50). Cercle Brugge will host KV Mechelen at the Jan Breydel in their first match this year. 12 Jan, 19:15.

Elvis Presley tribute. Bruges-born musician Steve Ryckier, accompanied by an 11-piece band, will present a rocking tribute to Elvis Presley to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Elvis' birth. Ryckier, who has performed for over 25 years, will perform classic hits such as "Jailhouse Rock", "Heartbreak Hotel", "Return To Sender", "Don't Be Cruel", and "Hound Dog".

"De" (‘The”) is a theatrical production by Dutch director Jetse Batelaan. Its full title is “De voorstelling die moet overleven met het allerlaatste dat nog over is," which translates to "The performance that must survive with the very last thing left” and explores the themes of loss and the fragility of abundance. “Audiences are warned that the performance includes a flame effect which may result in a slight burning smell.” Suitable for families and ages 8+ Tickets: €7-14. 12 Jan, 15:00.
